IN ZONE ENROLMENTS:

For students in zone, enrolment is by filling out our Enrolment Form.

In addition to filling out this form, please contact Leonie Muller, our enrolment officer at enrol@glenfield.school.nz with a copy of:

• Birth Certificate.
• Proof of Address (Utility Bill, Rates,) Bank account will not be accepted.
• Current visa (if non-citizen) With parents Visa and all passports

Parents of students who live within the home zone and intend enrolling their child at any time during 2026 should notify the school as soon as possible to assist the school to plan appropriately. However in-zone enrolments can be done at anytime prior to your child starting school.

For five year olds starting school for the first time, we recommend enrolling your child with time for visits before they start. Pre-start visits assist children in developing a sense of belonging and connection before beginning full-time.  We offer two visits on the Friday mornings prior to turning five.  Children begin school on the Monday following their fifth birthday.  If you think your child requires more than two visits, please let us know. 

Students who are already five or older can start as soon as practical after the enrolment has been completed.

OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENTS:

For out of zone applications please complete the out of zone ballot application form available from the school office or click here to download a copy. Applications can be emailed to enrol@glenfield.school.nz

 

In 2026 there will be 4 enrolment periods.

Details relating to the first enrolment period:

Term 1: 9th February 2026 to 02th April 2026

Deadline for receipt of applications: 15th October 2025

Ballot date (if required): 22nd October

Accepting applications in year levels 1 – 6

 

Details relating to the second enrolment period:

Term 2: 20th April 2025 to 03 July 2026

Deadline for receipt of applications: 5th March 2026

Ballot date (if required): 7th March 2026

 

Details relating to the third enrolment period:

Term 3: 20th July 2025 to 25th September 2026

Deadline for receipt of applications: 28th May 2026

Ballot date (if required): 30th May 2026

 

Details relating to the fourth enrolment period:

Term 4: 12th October 2025 to 18th December 2026

Deadline for receipt of applications: 13th August 2026

Ballot date (if required): 15th August 2026
