Haere Mai – Welcome everyone.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the staff, a very warm welcome to the Glenfield Primary experience! Our staff have returned from the Christmas break well prepared for another exciting year of teaching and learning. Classrooms are looking vibrant already with colourful displays and interesting photos and facts about the students around the walls.

 Our core business is to raise student achievement and create a learning environment that is happy, safe and based on mutual respect. We welcome your feedback regarding this mission, whether it is positive or suggesting ways to improve our practice. The introduction of National Standards has been topical in the media throughout the school break. At GPS we are focused on preparing our students to achieve and surpass these standards in Literacy and Numeracy and report your child's progress to you regularly.
